Here is the progress so far. It's slowly coming along but I think it could turn out really well in the end. This last week I've been doing lots of glazing on the right arm and face to push the values further and fix some inconsistencies in the brushwork. The lower half is still at a very early stage here and won't look as "defined" once more paint is applied. Right now these dark areas are serving as landmarks so I don't leave out any important part of the anatomy. The figure's right side will also be heavily shadowed which will hide these details even more. The background is still undecided at this point but I have an idea I'd like to attempt with this one.
